THE MANDATE
- 01Own customer engagements from strategy through execution.
- 02Work directly with founders and growth leaders to understand their commercial motion, build target-account systems, stand up outbound and inbound infrastructure, and turn repeatable workflows into scalable playbooks.
- 03Why it's interesting: this is not a conventional sales or RevOps seat. The role combines customer strategy, systems thinking, technical execution and ownership.
- 04It is designed for someone who wants to build GTM infrastructure directly with customers rather than operate inside a mature commercial machine.
- 05Location note: this role is in-person in either New York City or San Francisco.
THE SEAT
- 01Run kickoff and recurring strategy sessions with customers
- 02Build ICP and account-mapping systems
- 03Develop target lists from customer and market signals
- 04Stand up outbound infrastructure
- 05Orchestrate inbound, outbound and signal-driven GTM workflows
- 06Connect GTM tools and data sources
- 07Use APIs, automation and light coding where useful
- 08Turn successful workflows into repeatable templates
- 09Help productize the client-facing GTM offering
WHAT THIS SEARCH REQUIRES
- 01Approximately 2–6 years of relevant experience
- 02Hands-on experience building or operating GTM systems
- 03Customer-facing experience
- 04Personal accountability for customer outcomes
- 05Experience with modern GTM and AI tooling
- 06Comfort with APIs, automation and light coding
- 07Strong communication with founders and GTM leaders
- 08High agency in ambiguous environments
- 09Ability to build the playbook rather than simply follow one
